Ehh, I guess it’s nice for a short. Actually, if this was full length, it probably would be dead boring, or it would’ve done an opening episode like Kotoura!. Which I may need to finish at one point… Either way, since it’s a short, no harm done so far, albeit a bit bland, if not heart warming in some small way.

Well, whatever hype it has wasn’t that big, but lots of bloggers seem to like it, so I came in with some trepidation. Should have believed in the afterhype, since it reminds me of Nichibros in some way. Which is always a good thing, in my book!

Too bad it’s only half length, but maybe that would make it somewhat better than Nichibros, since there’s a few from the latter that just falls flat for me. Or maybe there’s just not enough material? I should do research if I’m going to say those kinds of stuff…

On first starting this, I don’t really have much expectations. But really the turning point for me is this guy’s VA:

Oh Zetsubou-sensei, I recognize almost everywhere you voice act!

Now it’s on. And my believe in his skill isn’t misplaced, at least for this anime.

I suppose this is not meant to be funny, but considering the VA…

But really, I should be fair and let the anime stand on its own. I guess it has an interesting premise, although I feel like this is – while not quite so – a bit overdone. The female MC isn’t that annoying, and it’s a nice change to have someone that doesn’t need saving much. The coming fights should be good based on the first fight at the start. But really, I just have this overall “fun” feeling the whole episode.
