IT’S BACK BITCHES!
With that out of the way… I finally have time to watch the first episode of Senki Zesshou Symphogear G: In The Distance, That Day, When The Stars Became Music…
Clearly, it has a higher production value: the art and animation quality is top notch, close to no flaw detected anywhere that I can see; the songs are much much much better, albeit the same genre. If the ones in the previous season didn’t hook you, I don’t think this one will too. The soundtrack though… so good. The singing from Yuuki Aoi, VA for Hibiki, also has improved tremendously since the previous season. Now it seems that she can carry JPop well now, where instead before in Gekisou Gungnir in the first season, I can hear her voice at the edge of breaking.
The henshin sequence seems to be sexed up a bit, but at the same time, it’s been polished up quite significantly. To be honest, that’s fine by me. :3
And the characters are well labeled I feel. Already I can see that there’s a new rival, although I should’ve suspected that Maria will be what Chris was before… Also calling it now (belatedly, since anyone that watched this already did) that Dr. Ver is the villain.
There’s nothing that I can say anymore without breaking into a complete wreck and spout incoherent babble fanspea- ANIME OF THE YEAR WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
